A 30-year-old laborer fell tonight (Thursday) from a height of about 10 meters at a construction site during his work on Alan Turing Street in Herzliya. MDA medics and paramedics gave him medical treatment and evacuated him to the Ichilov Hospital in serious condition while he is sedated and ventilated with a head injury.
Paramedic at MDA Il Dodzon said: “We arrived at the scene and saw the worker lying unconscious, under the scaffolding at the construction site where he works. We were told that during the work, the worker fell from a height of about 10 meters. He suffered a severe head injury. We rescued him from under the scaffolding, and performed life-saving operations that included anesthesia and respiration, immobilization and the administration of pain medication. We evacuated him to the hospital urgently as his condition is defined as serious.”
Police forces that were called to the scene began investigating the circumstances and a report was forwarded to the Ministry of Labor.
