About 500 protesters arrived this morning (Sunday) in Central Park in New York to read a joint scroll and march under the slogan “Bring them home”. The participants, in the spirit of the holiday, wore Batman costumes and robes in black, but also in yellow, which is associated with the fight to return the kidnapped.
Sherri Biebs' uncle, Maurice Schneider, participated in the march and said: “On October 7th, innocent children were kidnapped from their homes. Whole families. Our dearest. The international community is not doing enough. Too many people have become accustomed to the situation, and this cannot continue. There is no A normal thing for a 4-year-old child and a 1-year-old baby who have been held captive by a terrorist organization for 170 days.”
Omer Lovton Garnot, leader of the Forum of the Families of the Kidnapped in New York said: “This morning there are a lot of superheroes here. The heroes we need. Ariel and Kafir Biebs. We also need the leaders from all sides to be heroes and get them out of captivity. There is no greater mitzvah than redeeming captives.”
