The heat record from 85 years ago was broken

The meteorological service announced a short time ago that today (Thursday) between 12:00 and 13:00 an 85-year temperature record for the month of April was broken in Tel Aviv. The temperature was 40.7 degrees Celsius. The previous record ever recorded in April in Tel Aviv was 40.4 degrees, measured in 1939.
