A 60-year-old woman was killed in an accident on Route 65

Carnage on the roads: A 60-year-old woman was killed a short time ago (Wednesday) in a car accident between two vehicles on Highway 65 near Umm El Fahm. MDA medics and paramedics who were called to the scene reported a woman without signs of life with multiple systemic injuries and pronounced her dead on the spot. A 25-year-old man who was slightly injured is being treated at the Emek Hospital in Afula.

MDA emergency medic Muhammad Agbaria said: “This is a traffic accident between a commercial vehicle and a private vehicle. In the private car, the woman was sitting next to the driver's seat while she was unconscious without a pulse and without breathing and suffering from multi-system damage. We performed medical tests, but her injury was critical and unfortunately we had to pronounce her dead.”
