Missile barrages towards Kiryat Shmona and the surrounding area, loud explosions are heard in the area

Three alarms in a row were sounded a short time ago (Saturday) in Kiryat Shmona and the surrounding settlements including Menara and Margaliot due to fear of hostile aircraft infiltration and missile fire.

The spokeswoman of the municipality of Kiryat Shmona stated that “Dear residents, an additional and third alarm in a row has now been activated in Kiryat Shmona. Due to the fear of rocket fire, the residents of Kiryat Shmona staying in the city are asked to immediately enter shelters and protected areas. If no other notification is received, you can leave the protected area after 10 minutes Please obey the instructions, they save lives.”

Residents report the echoes of loud explosions heard in the area. MDA reported that “at this stage no calls about casualties have been received. MDA teams went out to scan places where reports were received. Update if necessary.”

In the meantime, social networks are reporting a targeted attack on a vehicle on the main road in the village of Aita al-Sha'ab-Ramish in Lebanon.
