“The sanctions are a violation of individual rights and the honor of the State of Israel”

At the Western Wall today (Thursday) the traditional priestly blessing class was held with the participation of thousands, including the chief rabbis, ministers, members of the Knesset and public figures, as well as the US ambassador to Israel Jack Lowe. At the end of the class, MK Zvi Sukkot (religious Zionism) spoke With US Ambassador Jack Lowe regarding the sanctions imposed by the US government on a number of settlers and the Netzah Yehuda Battalion.

Sukkot told the ambassador that “the sanctions on settlers are a fatal violation of individual rights, and the sanctions on the Netzah Yehuda Battalion are an insult to the honor of the State of Israel and an expression of distrust in the Israel Defense Forces. MK Sukkot said after the conversation: “We will continue to do everything to fight the delusional US sanctions “B and other countries against settlers without any basis for claims”.

As a reminder, this week it was reported that the US is expected to impose sanctions on the Netzah Yehuda Battalion, at the same time, Prime Minister Netanyahu announced that he intends to work with the administration in Washington in order to cancel the sanctions.
